Bikram Yoga and why I love it!

So after I was sick, I felt like I needed a good stretch and so I joined a Yoga studio. Now normally I hate yoga. Yes hate. But I decided to give Bikram yoga a try.

I did one class a few years back with my sister Astrid and liked it then, so I thought I would give it a try now. And I love it! Its one of my favorite parts of the day. It relaxes me. It works on my balance, flexibility and strength. And I feel great after class, its a great stress reliever and thus increases my happiness!

On to joining a tennis club, maybe sign up for some classes and my life is complete... well mostly!

Happy Tuesday!

Hot Cocoa Kind of Day

So today was a lovely day. Cold and pouring rain! I say lovely because I love the rain... cold I could do with out. But that being said, it was the perfect day for hot cocoa. I did my weekly shopping and then went to a cafe were I sat and worked all day on my business and drank hot coco. Not only did I get a lot done, I made myself go to a new area for my cafe work and discovered some great new places.

At about 5 pm I headed home and decided to cook myself some dinner as I watched my favorite show, Fringe.

And I must say, for all the great places to eat here, sometimes there is nothing better then a home cooked meal. :)

Happy Saturday!

Sabrina

XOXO

So today was a great day! Started out early in the morning with a Bikram yoga class. Got out a lot of toxins and then took a lovely stroll down 24th street in Noe Valley.

The weather was great, it was nice and busy, with shops open, people eating out side by Cafes and little markets going on everywhere.

Stopped in to Whole Foods market where I did my weeks shopping and then continued on my lovely walk.

On the corner of 30th and Church street there is this great cafe called XO Cafe. They have really great food. So I stopped in and ordered a coffee and Belgian waffles with Greek yogurt and fruit. It was really good and filling and the owners were really nice!

Then I went home and worked like crazy on my Paris Noir!

Now time to go out with some coworkers for a little V-Day weekend fun!

Have a good night!

I love food part II

So because I cant eat right now, I have decided to do my I <3 part II!

Below is a list of some yum places I have been:

Poulet (roast chicken)-

Great little French restaurant with a great wine bar! Very French country. I stopped in late one night and closed the restaurant and talked a bit with the owner. She just loves food and French cooking.:)

Crepevine-

Great breakfast food! Everything is fresh and tastes great! The coffee is strong like I like and the juice is freshly squeezed. Everything is packed full of vegetables and tastes great!

Pollo's-

This is the cute greek/american restaurant I went to when the owner refused to give me fires... Need I say more. Food is great for a quick Greek fix!

Bread and Cocoa-

This is down the street from my work and I <3 it. Everything is fresh and tastes great and is organic! They have pastries, coffee, tea, salad, bread/sandwiches and really great soups!

That is all for tonight! Maybe tomorrow I can go out and enjoy some of this great food again and if you come visit me, so can you! Good night!

Cheers,

Sassi

A day at Muir Beach

I decided to do a little more exploring this weekend and so I rented my first zip car. It was a Prius and drove wonderfully. I drove across the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin County.

Marin County has many beautiful places to explore, one of the being Muir Beach. Its about a 40 min drive through lush green winding roads. Then you get your first glimpse of the green and blue water crashing into the green cliffs. From there its about 5 more minutes and a small hike into the beach area.

I packed a small picnic which consisted of Wine, gluten free bread, cheese and salami and an orange. I ate on a small green cliff overlooking the big ocean. Then took a walk on the beach and climbed on the rocks and sat and contemplated life.

Its great living so close to something I love and fills me with peace and serenity.

Below are some pictures. I hope you all had as great a Saturday as I did!

Cheers,

Sassi :D

Play list: The sound track to my day

So today I created a play list that had to do with my moods or situations all day. What follows, is what I came up with....

On my way to work- The theme song from The Mission- To get over my feelings of persecution from yesterday.

On my lunch - Everyday People by Sly and the Family Stone- to brighten my mood!

Break at work- I want the world courtesy of Harry Connick Jr.- Because I felt I was asking for the world looking for a descent place to live.

Post office run- Mail Me from the best Japanese horror film ever, Suicide club! and when I say best I mean funny as all hell.

On the train ride home- Run this town tonight by Jay Z- Because I am taking over the world.

Packing to go to my new room for the week- on the road again by Willie Nelson- to feed my nomadic feeling.

HAVE A GOOD NIGHT! And play That's Amore by Dean Martin ;)

Cheers,

Sassi
